Delete your BarakahFlow account
This page is for requesting deletion of a BarakahFlow account and all data associated with it. If you still have the BarakahFlow app installed on your device, the fastest route is Settings → Delete Account inside the app, where deletion is immediate. This page exists for people who have already uninstalled the app or cannot sign in.
What gets deleted
Requesting deletion permanently removes your account and everything linked to it:
- Account profile, name and email
- Linked accounts and balances
- Logged transactions and categories
- Budgets, bills and savings goals
- Gold and silver holdings
- Investment records
- Zakat calculation method, hawl dates and Zakat history
- Push notification device tokens
Data held by our service providers
BarakahFlow’s data is hosted with third-party infrastructure providers. When an account is deleted, the data is removed from BarakahFlow’s own systems and deletion is requested from those providers in line with their retention schedules:
- Supabase: Our database and authentication provider. Your account, profile records, and all financial data are purged from Supabase servers upon deletion.
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google): Delivers push notifications to Android devices. Device tokens are purged from our records upon deletion.
- Web Push: Delivers push notifications in browsers and on iPhone. Device tokens and push endpoints are purged from our records upon deletion.
- Vercel: Our hosting provider. Ephemeral server access and runtime logs roll off in accordance with Vercel’s standard log retention schedules.
How long it takes
Requests are actioned within 30 days of verification, and a confirmation is sent once complete.
What we keep
Nothing. BarakahFlow retains no personal financial data, account credentials, transaction logs, or profile records once an account is deleted.
