BarakahFlow Terms of Service

Last updated: August 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using BarakahFlow (“the App”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. What BarakahFlow is

BarakahFlow is a personal finance tool that helps Muslims manage income, expenses, bills, budgets, savings goals, gold and silver holdings, investments, net worth and Zakat. It is a productivity tool — not a bank, a financial institution, a broker, or a regulated financial service. It does not hold, move or transfer money.

3. Not financial or religious advice

BarakahFlow does not provide financial advice, investment advice, tax advice, or religious rulings (fatwas).

The App states scholarly positions and names the school or standards body each one comes from. It applies the position you select — it does not decide for you, and stating a position is not issuing a ruling on it.

Zakat calculations are estimates based on the figures you enter and the method you select. For a binding ruling on your own situation, consult a qualified Islamic scholar or a certified Zakat authority.

All financial decisions you make based on data shown in the App are made at your own discretion and risk.

4. Market data

Gold and silver prices, foreign exchange rates and investment prices are supplied by third-party feeds. Metal prices are international spot rates, not local jeweller retail prices. Prices and rates may be delayed, cached or temporarily unavailable, and where that happens the App tells you and stamps the figure with the time it was last updated.

We do not warrant that market data is accurate, complete or current, and we are not liable for decisions made on the basis of it.

5. Your account

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

7. Notifications

If you enable reminders, the App sends push notifications to your registered devices at the times described in the App. Delivery depends on your device, your operating system and third-party push services, so we cannot guarantee that any particular reminder arrives. Reminders are a convenience — they are not a substitute for your own record-keeping, and missing one does not change what you owe.

8. Your data

All financial data you enter belongs to you. We do not claim ownership over it. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Profile → Delete Account. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how your data is handled.

9. Availability

The App is free to use. We aim to keep it available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may temporarily suspend the App for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control, and we may change or discontinue features. We are not liable for any loss caused by downtime.

10. Limitation of liability

BarakahFlow is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

11. Account termination

You may delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as the App evolves. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect any changes.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of UAE courts.
